Supporting Genome-Wide RNA-Interference and Drug Screening
The FMP hosts the central technology platform of the ChemBioNet, the Screening Unit, which has been established for systematic screening of large compound libraries searching for bioactive small molecules with potential for modulating biological networks. The Screening Unit manages also the technology platform for genome-wide RNA-interference of the Max-Delbrueck-Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) and Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology used for Systems Biology in C. elegans and in human cell lines.
