How to get to the MDC

From the city center (Berlin-Mitte), follow Prenzlauer Promenade outbound (which then be-comes A114) in the direction of Autobahn Prenzlau to the Bucher Straße exit. After exiting, turn right at the traffic light onto Hobrechtsfelder Chaussee in the direction of Buch. Continue driving straight for about 4 to 5 kilometers, past HELIOS Klinikum Berlin-Buch. Take a right turn at the next intersection with a right-turn traffic light onto Wiltbergstraße. Drive straight for about 2 kilometers, passing through an S-Bahn underpass, and continue on for about 500 more meters. Wilt-bergstraße then bends to the right and merges with Karower Chaussee. Drive straight on this road for another 500 meters and then turn left onto Robert-Rössle-Straße, which will take you to Campus Berlin-Buch and MDC.

  1. From Tegel Airport
    Take bus TXL to S-Bahnhof Beusselstraße, then change to S-Bahn line S41 direction Gesund-brunnen. Change there to S-Bahn line S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. Exit on the left and take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) to the final stop in front of MDC on Campus Berlin-Buch. (Travel time: about 55 min.) There is also a taxi stand upon exiting the station (S-Bahn Buch). MDC is about twenty minutes’ walking distance from the station.

    Take bus TXL to S+U Bahnhof Potsdamer Platz. Change to S-Bahn line S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 75 min.) There is also a taxi stand upon exiting the station (S-Bahn Buch). MDC is about twenty minutes’ walking distance from the station.

    Take bus 128 (blue airport shuttle) to underground station Osloer Straße, then change to bus 150 (direction S-Bahnhof Buch) to the Theodor-Brugsch-Straße stop (travel time: about 70 min.). From there it is about 5 minutes’ walking distance to MDC.
  2. From Schönefeld Airport
    Take S-Bahn line S9 direction S+U Pankow to S-Bahnhof Pankow. Change to S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 85 min.) There is also a taxi stand upon exiting the station (S-Bahn Buch). MDC is about twenty minutes’ walking distance from the station.

    Take S-Bahn line S45 direction Westend to S-Bahnhof Papestraße. Change there to S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 90 min.) There is also a taxi stand upon exiting the station (S-Bahn Buch). MDC is about twenty minutes’ walking distance from the station.
  3. From Tempelhof Airport
    Take underground line U6 direction Alt-Tegel to S+U-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße. Change there to S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 55 min.)

  4. From Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
    Take the S-Bahn to Bahnhof Friedrichstraße (one stop). You can choose between S-Bahn line S5 direction Strausberg, S7 direction Ahrensfelde, S75 direction Wartenberg or S9 direction Schönefeld). Change at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße to S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 55 min.) There is also a taxi stand upon exiting the station (S-Bahn Buch). MDC is about twenty minutes’ walking distance from the station.
  5. From Ostbahnhof (East Station)
    Take the S-Bahn to Bahnhof Alexanderplatz (two stops). You can choose between S-Bahn line S5 direction Charlottenburg, S9 and S75 direction Spandau or S7 direction Potsdam). Change at Bahnhof Alexanderplatz to underground line U2 direction Pankow. At the S + U Pankow station change to S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 45 min.) There is also a taxi stand upon exiting the station (S-Bahn Buch). MDC is about twenty minutes’ walking distance from the station.
  6. From Bahnhof Lichtenberg
    Take the S-Bahn to Bahnhof Friedrichstraße. You can choose between S-Bahn line S5 direction Charlottenburg, S9 and S75 direction Spandau or S7 direction Potsdam. Change at Bahnhof Friedrichstraße to S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction Robert-Rössle-Straße; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC. (Travel time: about 60 min.)   7. From Bahnhof Friedrichstraße
    Take S-Bahn line S2 direction Buch/Bernau to S-Bahnhof Berlin-Buch. From there take bus 351 (direction "Campus Buch"; bus stop to the left of the train station) directly to MDC.
