Ultrahigh Field MR at the ECRC
The Berlin Ultrahigh-Field MR Facility has been implemented on the Campus Berlin-Buch as an integral part of the ECRC. The MR Facility is equipped with a 3 T and 7 T whole-body human MR scanner and a 9.4 T animal MR scanner and provides the infrastructure for projects of an interdisciplinary imaging consortium with scientists from the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine, the Charité Medical Faculty Berlin, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) and the Leibniz Institute for Molecular Pharmacology (FMP). Cooperation agreements have been signed with Siemens Medical Solutions and Bruker Biospin. Joint projects focus on the development of high-field-MR applications in cardiovascular, neurological, and cancer research.
