Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative team setting and values the exchange of ideas and knowledge. This postdoctoral position offers a dynamic environment where you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation models for understanding human diseases and advancing personalized medicine.
- Work with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) to develop and culture complex neuronal, organoid or multiorgan systems
- Apply advanced single cell and spatial techniques for organoid research
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, integrating biology, engineering, and clinical research for high-impact outcomes
- Optimize experimental protocols and contribute to the development of innovative models for disease research and therapeutic applications
- Writing reports, publications and grant applications
Requirements
- PhD in Biomedical Sciences or a related field (e.g., Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering)
- Extensive experience with iPSC culture/organoid/3D culture especially for neuronal systems
- Strong practical skills in cell culture and molecular biology methods
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative, multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
Additional Skills which can be beneficial:
- Experience with bioprinting and tissue engineering
- Knowledge of CRISPR/Cas gene editing techniques
- Expertise in electrophysiology to measure and analyze neuronal activity
- Computational data analysis
