The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) in the Helmholtz Association is an international biomedical research center dedicated to understanding the molecular mechanisms of health and disease with the goal to devise new diagnostics and medicines. We are seeking a student assistant (m/f/d) to support the MDC Graduate School team (iNAMES – MDC-Weizmann Helmholtz International Research School for Imaging and Data Science).

Job Description

  • independent documentation of the filing system incl. maintenance of Excel lists
  • support with event organization (e.g. sending invitations, collecting responses, managing attendees lists, ordering and printing materials)
  • support with meetings organization (e.g. scheduling of meetings and minutes recording)
  • support with Social media management (e.g posting prepared posts on Twitter and LinkedIn, planning SM campaigns)
  • support with webpage maintenance (e.g. proofreading the texts, updating information)
  • archive work (tracking and archiving attendance of e.g. training events, updating students databases incl. maintenance of Excel lists)

Requirements

  • enrollment at a university
  • ability to work independently, responsibly and proactively
  • ability to work in a team
  • good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • excellent English skills (oral and written)
  • experience in office management advantageous
