Susanne Wegmann is a Professor at DZNE in Berlin, where she leads the group ‘Protein Actions in Neurodegeneration’. Her research focuses on the neuronal microtubule-associated protein tau in health and disease, using a broad spectrum of techniques in human postmortem tissue, human neuronal cultures, and animal models:
