Photo Exhibition from the Estate of Sibylle Bergemann
Join us for celebrating the legacy of Sibylle Bergemann, one of Germany’s most influential photographers. Renowned for her evocative depictions of everyday life and social change in East and reunified Berlin, Bergemann documented the city’s transformation before and after the fall of the Wall. This photo exhibition features a curated selection of works from her estate, offering a unique insight into her boundary-breaking approach to photography that blended documentation and art.
The event also marks the inauguration of the Sibylle Bergemann Rooftop Terrace, paying tribute to the artist’s deep ties to this neighborhood, where she and her family lived for more than four decades.
The exhibition runs until May 20.
