MDC statement on private videos of a staff member

The YouTube videos are purely private expressions of opinion by the author. They are in no way related to research at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association (MDC); in particular, there is no connection with MDC's corona research. The author is not an immunologist. Neither is she a virologist, nor an RNA researcher, nor an epidemiologist, and she has no experience in vaccine development. Her expertise lies in the field of neurodegenerative and metabolic diseases. The author's statements have not received scientific peer group approval and have not been verified by colleagues with a relevant professional background.

MDC recommends that anybody seeking reliable information about new vaccines and the pros and cons of vaccination for the prevention of COVID-19 should take the advice of recognized experts.
