The corona pandemic continues into the new year. Politicians around the world are struggling to find the right strategies to deal with the crisis, while people live with restrictions and regulations (pictured here is Berlin's Mayor Michael Müller in the state parliament, wearing an MDC mask). In the scientific world, international teams are working together at a phenomenal pace to research COVID-19. The first glimpse of hope — vaccinations have begun. If you have questions about the new vaccines, we can offer answers from a scientific perspective.
Of course, research into other widespread diseases carries on. A team led by Uta Höpken and Armin Rehm is developing a novel immunotherapy against lymphoma and leukemia. You will find this and much more - including an overview into our continuing education and open access offers - in these MDC Insights.
Furthermore, we would like to invite you to two virtual events. Today, a lecture on Alzheimer's disease will be taking place. In February, we would like to welcome you to a panel event with a film about women in science. We look forward to seeing you!
