Administrative and Technical Staff

The administration of the Max Delbrück Center provides invaluable support to our research teams, helping them to fulfill our mission: to make discoveries for tomorrow's medicine.

The administrative teams are all united by a common goal: to support our scientists in their daily work, to create the best possible working environment, to ensure smooth operations and to promote a culture of respect, inclusion, equality and unity.

The work of the administrative teams covers a wide variety of areas. Working in one of our departments offers the opportunity to contribute to a range of tasks, from organizational strategic advancement, human resources management and legal affairs, to people and culture development, IT tasks, financial matters, communications, safety and technical management, facilities maintenance, security or logistics.

Administrative team assistants and lab managers provide direct day-to-day support to our research teams, allowing researchers to focus on what they do best: producing excellent science. 

Lab technicians are an essential part of every research group, ensuring the smooth operation of each lab, providing support in all aspects of lab life, and working hand-in-hand with scientists to conduct research.
