1st Immunology & Inflammation (I & I) Conference

Recent discoveries of how innate and adaptive mechanisms cooperate in immune defense and in the control of cellular homeostasis have changed classical immunological paradigms and opened new horizons for basic research and medical intervention. Accordingly, a new era of immunological research has begun, in which the immune system serves as a paradigm for modern systems biology, and where therapies targeting as well as exploiting the Immune System are beginning to revolutionize large sectors of medicine.

The 1^st Immunology & Inflammation (I & I) Conference aims to serve as an international and interactive platform for exchange of ideas and scientific discussion on the latest ground-breaking discoveries in the field. The program comprises four sessions covering the key new developments, their impact on Life Science, and implications for modern medicine. Each session will feature the world-renowned experts who have contributed to the breakthroughs that fuelled these new areas of investigation. Young scientists will also be given the opportunity to present their work through talks and posters sessions.

The registration fee includes coffee breaks (February 24^th-26^th), lunch buffet over poster session (February 25^th) and dinner buffet (February 25^th). The accommodation is not included in the registration fee and must be arranged independently.

We invite all registered participants to submit an abstract about their research. The scientific organizing committee will review all abstracts and select the most relevant contributions for short talks or poster presentation. Abstracts can only be submitted online via the "Register now" button.
