Graziana Gatto: Dissecting sensorimotor circuits: a spinal perspective

Graziana Gatto is a Junior Group Leader in the Neurology Department of the University of Cologne (https://www.gattolab.com). She did her postdoctoral work with Martyn Goulding at the Salk Institute where she dissected the functional organization of spinal somatosensory circuits controlling motor reflexes (Gatto et al., Neuron, 2020).  She is now focusing on the circuits basis of sensorimotor adaptation. Her work combines mouse genetics and behavioural analysis to reveal the roles of anatomically and genetically defined sensory circuits in the control of movement.
