Labor trifft Lehrer*in: Human brain organoids as a novel tool for modeling of brain development and neurological disorders

Organoids are stem cell-derived 3D culture systems that mimic the cellular complexity and functionality of human organs. They provide new opportunities for studying the development of healthy and diseased organs. In this training, teachers will be introduced into 3D organoid technologies and will learn specifically about how brain organoids can be used to model human brain development or study brain disorders such as Alzeimer’s disease or virus driven Encephalitis.
