Organoids have been a valuable tool for modeling disease. In this training, teachers will learn the basics about organoids and how they provide an alternative to animal models. We will highlight the use of neuromuscular organoids to model and understand diseases like spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
