Agreement with publishers

American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)

• Article processing charges will not be paid by the open access publication fund.
• The invoice will be sent to your cost center.
• Authors of the MDC are entitled to a discount of 30% on the regular publication fee for publishing in the journal Science Advances. This discount is granted because the library is subscribing to all AAAS journals. Please indicate the MDC as your institution during the submitting process. When you are asked to provide a customer number, please contact the library.
• Science Advances offers two licensing models, and the discount will be applied to both:
  Articles published under a CC-BY-NC license: 2584.- USD statt 3692.- USD
  Articles published under a CC-BY license: 3814.- USD statt 4922 USD
• Members of the AAAS receive an additional 4% discount on the APCs.
