Summer Science Day 2026 - get a first look at the program and register now! ☀️🔬

Join us on Thursday, July 9, for our second Summer Science Day in Buch, taking place at MDC.C and on the lawn from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We’re excited to share a preliminary program! While we're still adding new activities and finalizing the schedule, the many ideas and contributions from colleagues across MDC already promise a diverse and interactive day.

Explore our center through guided lab tours, discover the work of our departments and initiatives, learn more about our technology platforms, and connect with colleagues from Buch, Mitte, and the campus.

Here's a preview of what's planned so far:

• Guided lab tours
• Science competitions
• The Ceremony of the Silent Hero Awards and the Marvelous Mentor Awards
• A book flea market in the library
• A charity cake sale
• Hands-on activities
• Quizzes and games
• Activities for children 🍰📚🎡

Food and drinks will be available throughout the day. We'll wrap up the event with a relaxed musical finale at 5:00 p.m. 🎶

Guided lab tours will take place at scheduled times throughout the day. Tickets will be available on-site during the event at the MDC.C Information Desk.
