Pride at MDC - Resilience in Times of Change
Welcome back to the fourth edition of the LGBTQI+ pride symposium at the MDC!
We are happy to invite you to join us once again, for our fourth annual LGBTQI+ symposium at the MDC! The mission of this event, organized by our vibrant community, is to promote inclusivity and diversity within the MDC and beyond.
Three years ago, we started this journey with a great list of speakers and tremendous support! Last year, we united under the theme “Pride at MDC - Equity in Science and Society”. Now, we carry that momentum forward, by exploring the concept of resilience, as a response to change, as well as a vital force that empowers us to persist, evolve, overcome obstacles, and actively shape a more inclusive and equitable community in times of uncertainty.
This symposium is not just a space for discussion. It is a call to action. It’s a reminder that in the moment of change, we have the power to shape the narrative, to support one another, and to stand strong in our shared commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
We invite all who believe in the power of resilience, stand up for LGBTQI+ rights, and are passionate about fostering a more inclusive scientific community to join us.
Stay tuned for exciting updates on our speakers, sessions, and opportunities to get involved.
Please note: Our symposium venue is barrier-free and located on the ground floor for easy access. Attendees who require further accessibility accommodations are invited to contact us for a Zoom link to ensure their full participation in the symposium. Please reach out to us in advance if you need any additional assistance. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.
