MDC Afternoon for Immunology

We are excited to announce the next session of our MDC Afternoons for Immunology, a quarterly event aimed at bringing together scientists across diverse immunological backgrounds, enhancing networking, and strengthening connections across MDC and Berlin.

This time, we have two fantastic keynote speakers.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Hubbell, Prof. at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Jeffrey Hubbell develops immunomodulatory biomaterials and engineered proteins to control the immune system in precise, disease-specific ways. His research is highly translational, with multiple technologies commercialized through companies he has founded.

Dr. Stefano Casola, Prof. at the University of Milan, PI at the IFOM ETS – The AIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology. His lab investigates how the antigen receptor on B-cells drives their normal development and how its signaling and associated genetic pathways become corrupted to cause germinal-center derived B-cell lymphomas.
