Validation Lab

The Validation Lab at the Max Delbrück Center provides dedicated laboratory space to validate promising technologies emerging from our academic research environment.

By generating robust and reproducible data outside of the academic lab setting, we help de-risk technologies and prepare them for successful translation into industry and clinical applications. We work closely with strategic industry partners, founders, investors, and translational stakeholders to ensure that validation studies are aligned with real-world needs and commercial expectations. In addition to supporting licensing opportunities, we actively seek collaborative partnerships in which de-risking and validation are carried out together, guided by the expertise and feedback of future users and adopters of the technology.

The Validation Lab is led by Dr. Natalia Alenina, a long-standing expert in experimental biomedical research with extensive experience across different research fields. Natalia helps bridge the gap between innovative academic discoveries and practical translational applications.
