Scientific instruments from a century of biomedical research are on display on the ground floor of the Oskar and Cécile Vogt House, illustrating key stages in the history of medicine and scientific research. On September 12, 2026, discover the Campus Museum’s collection as part of Open Monument Day and join Dr. Jochen Müller to explore the development of microscopes produced in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

Museum of the History of Science at the Berlin-Buch Campus
The history of medical research in Berlin-Buch is impressively documented at the Berlin-Buch Campus Museum. The Oskar and Cécile Vogt House houses scientific instruments from a century of biomedical research. The integrated exhibition “Invisible–Visible–Seen Through” presents the unique connection between science and the optical industry that developed in the Berlin/Brandenburg region at the beginning of the 19th century.
