Evening of classical songs

As a multi-award-winning international concert pianist and enthusiastic Lied interpreter, Wolfram Rieger has already accompanied opera singers such as Thomas Quasthoff and Peter Schreier on the piano or shone as an accompanist for various chamber music partners. In addition to interpretation courses in Europe and Japan, he regularly performs at the most important international music centres and festivals.

Since 1998, when he took up a professorship at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, he has taught bachelor's and master's programmes, such as "Lied interpretation for pianists". He will be presenting a recital by the Lied class of the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin, with songs from the Classical and Romantic periods, from Schubert to Strauss.

Admission is free, but we are happy to accept donations for further events of this kind or for the reconstruction of the Buch church tower.
