Manvendra Singh: The Mobile Genome Fuels
The Mobile Genome Fuels Adult Neurogenesis
Prof. Manvendra Singh completed his PhD at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine under Dr Zsuzsanna Izsvák before undertaking postdoctoral research at Cornell University in the laboratory of Prof. Cédric Feschotte. He subsequently led a computational biology group at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences and has recently established his own laboratory at the Institut Pasteur in Paris. His research combines evolutionary genomics, computational biology and functional genomics to investigate the roles of transposable elements in human development, immunity and disease.
