It is not yet well known to those working at the Berlin-Buch Campus that we have an on-site museum of science history. We would like to change that and make it possible to relive the scientific history of the site, especially for you as leaders of the MDC, who can also use the museum as part of visits of scientists or other guests. Due to the project CampusArt financed by a grant of the Berlin Lottery, we could expand it by an additional exhibition on Berlin/Brandenburg microscopes in addition to the display at the MDC.C and the virtual museum. This exhibitions reflects the interaction of scientists with craftsmen of mechanics and optics in the region of Berlin/Brandenburg in the early 19th century, at the dawn of cell science (see too).
