Ian Erik Stewart doesn’t like to completely give up work in his free time. Together with other scientists, he founded ​“EDGE” — an organisation dedicated to make neuroscience understandable through art. He reveals more in our new ​“LUNCH BREAK” video series.
The PhD student in the Neural Circuits and Behavior Lab of Professor James Poulet has chosen to explain the phenomenon of proprioception – our ability to sense the position, posture and movement of our bodies in physical space. In the first episode of ​“LUNCH BREAK”, Stewart tells us how he became a researcher and why the Tempelhofer Feld is his favorite place in Berlin.
