Amos Tanay: Future Epigenomics, Cells and Tissue Models

You are warmly invited to a lecture by Prof. Amos Tanay from the Weizmann Institute of Science at the Berlin Institute of Medical Systems Biology (MDC-BIMSB).

Future epigenomics, cells and tissue models: Large language transformers? Quantitative mechanistic representations? Or both?

Prof. Tanay is internationally known for his pioneering work in computational biology, single-cell genomics, and epigenomics. His research has a strong focus on quantitative and mechanistic modeling of gene regulation, which enables disease prediction.
