Our Partnerships

Biomedical breakthroughs are rarely achieved in isolation. We actively collaborate and tailor our engagement models to meet the strategic objectives of our partners across the research landscape. Our partner network spans global pharmaceutical leaders, biotech pioneers, innovative R&D platforms/instrumentation developers, and early-stage investors.
Collaboration Type What We Offer Your Impact
Technology licensingAccess to a portfolio of patented assets and research materials Gain a competitive edge and accelerate your R&D pipeline
Co-developmentJoint pathways to build, validate, and scale next-generation technologies and instrumentation Share risk to innovate and unlock new opportunities

Spin-off investmentEarly-stage investment opportunities in new ventureGet in on the ground floor of disruptive health innovations

We constantly work on creative new ways to connect industry and our scientists and create dedicated infrastructure to foster technology transfer and collaborations. We are developing a Validation Lab enabling industry partners to evaluate our technologies for their specific applications.

This mission takes a giant leap forward with our new AI2M center, which establishes specialized hubs across Berlin to co-develop AI – Accelerated Molecular Innovations in Medicine” alongside industry partners.

Example in Action:
The MDC-Bruker Center of Excellence for Single Cell Omics

We actively bring industry directly into our research space to accelerate biomedical discoveries. Our partnership with Bruker to establish the Center of Excellence for Single Cell Omics perfectly illustrates this. By embedding corporate technology experts directly within our facilities, we have created a highly interactive ecosystem where shared resources, joint R&D projects, and a dynamic exchange of ideas fast-track innovations from the lab to clinical relevance.
