The head of the MDC Systems Biology Imaging Platform, Robert P. Zinzen will host a virtual lecture from the company DeepCell.
Methodologies to assess and characterize cell morphology, which can be highly indicative of phenotype and function, have been limited to either imaging or sorting with labels, until now. 
The REM-I Platform combines label-free imaging, deep learning, and gentle sorting to leverage single cell morphology as a high-dimensional quantitative readout.
