Helmholtz Quantum Conference

Dear Colleagues,

we would like to draw your attention to the Helmholtz Quantum Conference that we co-organize with Helmholtz Quantum in BIMSB on July 9-10th.

Quantum computing is a very exciting and developing set of tech that could be used to greatly accelerate many biological computing tasks and it enters the prime time with real-world applications. Helmholtz had a quantum use case challenge last year and following up we are organizing this conference as a scientific and a networking event. Its fantastic that we have it at the MDC. Importantly, the Helmholtz Institutes have a lot of super cutting-edge hardware that they develop, and unique expertise to build collaborations.

The applications are from the entire Helmholtz Association, please take a look at the program below.

The first day overlaps with the MDC Science day, see if you can make it to both. On the second day we will have rather general talks, including Martin Keller with a discussion on DARPA-style challenges.

Please register, its good to know how much catering to get.

If you want to chat about it - talk to me or Deborah Schmidt, we are very excited about the developments in quantum computing.
