HFMI Satellite Event to the Incubator Workshop

In May 2024, Helmholtz Association took the lead towards supporting the development of Foundation Models in research. The ambitious Helmholtz Foundation Model Initiative started with four pilot projects, accompanied by a Synergy Unit that addresses overarching issues. The HFMI is hosting a two-half-day, in-person event at the MDC-BIMSB in Berlin. This event seeks to bring together the scientists working on these pilot projects, allowing them to network, exchange ideas and present the current status of their work. This event satellites the Helmholtz Incubator Workshop that is taking place on November 27-29  in Berlin. We will also host a dinner on the 26.11 at a local restaurant to facilitate networking, providing a casual setting for participants to connect and discuss their research.
