Title:
Prediction of Adaptive Immunity
Lecture Series:
SysBio Lecture Series: AI for Systems Medicine
Abstract
Adaptive immunity protects against infection, cancer, and autoimmunity, yet predicting immune recognition remains a fundamental challenge. The massive diversity of B- and T-cell receptors limits direct disease and immune recognition inference from data alone. Recent advances in immune repertoire sequencing now enable large-scale observation of adaptive immune responses, but translating these data into predictive models remains difficult.
He will present recent work from his lab on computational approaches that leverage immune repertoires for disease diagnostics, as well as their latest efforts in predicting antibody-antigen binding.
